Festival of ‘Contested’ Urbanism 2023
As part of the 2023 Festival of 'contested' Urbanism, the Henry Halloran Research Trust is once again hosting the Festival of Urbanism short film competition and documentary film course. Students at the University of Sydney, Monash University and the University of Western Australia also have the opportunity to attend two free, online filmmaking training sessions with Dr. Cameron Rose.
In line with this year’s festival theme, students will be required to examine ‘contested’ urbanism in whatever context and creative approach they choose.
Students who are unable to attend the training sessions are also encouraged to submit short films.
Films will be judged by a panel from the University of Sydney, Monash University and the University of Western Australia. There will be a cash prize for the winner of the short film competition.
